The early-2000s going-out dress. It’s a short lace slip with scalloped trim, hung on skinny adjustable straps and cut on the bias so it drapes and moves with you.
There’s a slip layer under the lace, so it’s only sheer in spots. Wear it with strappy heels and a tiny bag, or throw a faux-fur coat over it for winter parties.
